Recipe By Guest Culinary Artist - Shailene Woodley
It's "Pumpkin Spice Everything" Season again! The crisp autumn air and crackling of dried leaves beneath our feet makes us crave the flavorful spices of cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg. It makes sense our bodies are craving these warming additions during this seasonal shift.
We've crafted a drink that perfectly captures the essence of autumn (in our humble opinion). While many popular spiced drink offerings are laden with high fructose corn syrup and other unsavory ingredients, our autumn elixir is not only decadent and delicious, but it's also carefully crafted from ingredients that are healthy for you!
Colostrum gives this drink its immune-supporting edge — adding a creamy texture while also providing a boost to your immune system as we enter cold and flu season!
Pro tip: This drink is best-enjoyed when paired with your favorite autumn activity — whether that's taking a stroll through the woods to admire the gorgeous changing leaves or cozying up next to the fire with a good book!
12 oz Coconut Water
6 tbsp Cashews
6 tbsp Surthrival Colostrum powder
3 tbsp Cacao powder
1.5 tbsp Chai Spice Blend (go here to DIY your own blend)
4-5 Ice Cubes
3-4 tbsp Maple syrup
Blend the cashews and coconut water until creamy (about 20-30 seconds). Strain if desired for a smoother texture. Add the remaining ingredients and blend well until smooth!
Pour, Sip, Enjoy!
