RAW WATER is gathered from one of the oldest and most revered natural spring water sources in North America and comes to you just as it “bubbles from the spring” mere minutes after leaving the Earth. Shielded from harmful sunlight the entire way, this spring water comes straight from Mother Nature without ANY treatment or filtration and may even contain natural sand and gravel particles.
Summit Spring Water – unlike any municipal tap water – is authentic, free-flowing natural spring water that comes from a single protected aquifer deep beneath the pristine forests of Maine. We collect only the natural overflow without the use of pumps, bore holes, or other artificial means that can offset the balance of nature.
One of the things that makes RAW Water’s Summit Spring so unique is the fact that it’s located near the summit of the highest point in Cumberland County, Maine, nearly 350′ higher than the surrounding terrain. This means that the origin must be a very long distance away where the terrain is higher. The most logical explanation is that the water source originates in the White Mountains of New Hampshire some forty miles away. The fact that Summit Spring Water travels so far, deep beneath some of the most pristine forest in North America may explain why our water is so uncommonly pure, just as it bubbles from the ground.
Summit Spring Water is one of a select few bottled waters to carry the State of Maine’s “Premium Grade” (License #967) designation. The State of Maine awards this designation only to the highest-quality natural spring water meeting the very stringent quality and testing guidelines developed by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services.
